Wood Stork

Wood Storks are a common visitor to the edges of the rookery. They often roost in tall pines, or stand in grassy areas.

They are the largest bird that visits the rookery. They can grow to nearly 4 feet tall, with wingspans just short of 6 feet.

Wood Storks almost look like extremely large Ibis, but with unfeathered heads.

Feathers:
- Mostly white.
- Black flight feathers on wings.
- Black tails.
Head: Bare.
Legs: Black.
Feet: Red/orange (breeding).
Bill: Long. Dark. Downward curve at end.

Wood Storks eat fish, crabs, amphibians, and insects.
