Osprey

Ospreys are commonly seen fishing in the marsh.

Overall: Brown on top, white on bottom.
Head: White. Brown stripe through eyes.
Legs: White.
Feet: White. Sharp talons.
Bill: Black. Pronounced hook.

Ospreys are one of three raptors seen from the rookery, along with Red-shouldered Hawks and Ospreys.

Ospreys are typically under 2 feet tall, with wingspans up to 6 feet.

Ospreys almost exclusively eat fish.
